Retailer Lidl has recently announced that they wil be installing 40 charge points at 20 of its stores in the coming months.
They say this will happen within 6 months and stores such has Rathnfarnham and Swords in Dublin have already been retrofitted. These charge points will be giving 100km per charge and they are currently giving cars 4000km of charge per week.
New stores such as the ones in Nenagh and Limerick will have these fitten and we can assume that Lidl will be putting these charge points in any new stores that they build.
This is an exciting leap in the usability of Electric Cars and will hopefully have a positive impact in peoples decision making in buying a Hybrid or Electric car.
